This is a short week and with all the holidays I am sure you do not want to spend all your time in the kitchen. I hope this menu with the shopping list will save you some time.

I would like to thank everyone for the positive feedback and thank you notes that I received about the weekly menus. It makes all the time spent on this worthwhile.

I am sorry but I am really in love with pork again, so it features often on this week’s menu!

Shopping List

I am not including general ingredients like salt, pepper, oil, cake flour, milk, bread, sugar, eggs and butter to the Shopping List.

Make sure you have:

    • Olive oil
    • Butter
    • Eggs
    • Apricot jam
    • Brown sugar
    • Cake Flour
    • Cocoa
    • Castor sugar
Meat
    • Pork schnitzel x 800g
    • 450g chorizo sausages
    • 1 x 2kg rolled pork belly
    • Chicken breasts x 6
    • 250g streaky bacon
    • Boneless lef of lamb x 1.2kg
    • 1 x 3kg ham
Dairy
    • Cream x 500ml
    • Cheddar Cheese
    • Blue Cheese
    • Feta cheese
Spices
    • Nutmeg
    • Cinnamon sticks
    • Curry
    • Cumin
    • Bayleaves
    • cloves
Other:
    • Soya sauce
    • Tomato paste
    • Sesame seeds
    • Jasmine rice
    • Vegetable Stock
    • Arborio rice
    • White wine
    • 1 bottle Olives with sundried tomatoes
    • 250ml canned pineapple pieces (optional)
    • Walnuts x 30g
    • CousCous
    • Maize meal
    • 1 x can tomato and onion mixture
    • 250g dried apricots
    • Dry white wine
    • 2l Ginger beer
    • Berry jam
    • Orange juice
    • Orange liqueur  (optional)
    • Dijon mustard
    • 200g chocolates (dark or milk or milk with nuts or any other of your choice)
    • Liqueur of your choice (matching your chocloate choice)
    • 200g milk chocolate / Nutella
Fruit and Vegetables: 
    • Spring onions
    • 1 x baby cabbage
    • 1 x red
    •  pepper
    • 1 x yellow pepper
    • 125g baby corn
    • 125g mange tout
    • Fresh ginger

    Looks great, but how can you add chocolate tartlets AND chocolate biscuits to all the Easter eggs and chox which will be happening? …
